the dust-buster sutra

we've been insane

for ten thousand years and looking

forward to being in business

for ten thousand more.


"our buddha nature is forever pure

where do you get this dust?"


dust to dust but never dust

(in this one electric visionary

company of gong and driftwood,

by the shores of in a gadda dada vida,

happening is and isn't happening)

thus in the dust but never of the dust.


"the mirror itself is so clean

dust has no place to land."


in light of what we really are,

all of what we aren't is burned away

in the loving-awareness it never was

including this dusty sutra.
